Four leopard cubs, approximately five to seven days old, were rescued near Tavarekere on Bengaluru's outskirts after being found abandoned. Animal welfare group People For Animals (PfA) Wildlife Hospital intervened after being alerted by the Forest Department. The cubs, three females and one male, were dehydrated but had no internal injuries. PfA stated that human activity often compels mothers to abandon cubs and that efforts are underway to facilitate a reunion, playing cub vocalizations and using scent markers while maintaining distance.
