IAF Officer Neha Devi Balances Motherhood and Marathon Running Achievements

Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Neha Devi from Jammu has balanced motherhood, military duties, and competitive running with notable success. Joining the Air Force Academy in 2013 overweight, she transformed through disciplined training and became a top marathon runner. During her 2024 pregnancy, she continued exercising under medical supervision and delivered a healthy baby girl. Postpartum, she resumed training, completing multiple marathons and a 100km ultramarathon within 15 months, exemplifying resilience and challenging social norms about women’s fitness during motherhood.
