Three Indian nationals, victims of a job scam in Myanmar, have been repatriated to India. The Indian Embassy in Yangon facilitated their return, warning citizens against dubious job offers. This repatriation is part of a larger effort, with over 1,757 Indians having been returned from Myanmar since July 2024. The Indian government has previously informed Parliament about rescuing over 6,700 citizens from scam centers in Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos.
