
An inquiry has been ordered by the Kerala Health Department following the deaths of two dialysis patients at Haripad Taluk Hospital. The patients, identified as Ramachandran (60) and Majeed (52), experienced symptoms like shivering and vomiting during dialysis on December 29. Both later died in separate hospitals. Relatives allege medical negligence and infection, while health officials have suspended the dialysis centre's operations. Two other patients who developed similar symptoms are stable.
