Forty-five youths, including seven minors, were rescued from Arunachal Pradesh and returned to Tripura after allegedly facing physical and mental exploitation. The youths were reportedly taken on the pretext of better job opportunities but were forced to work long hours without pay, denied food, and subjected to assault. The rescue followed a complaint by tea garden workers, prompting intervention from Tripura's Labour Minister and coordinated efforts with Arunachal Pradesh authorities.
