A seminar on north Malabar's local history and women's movements was held as part of the Kannur Heritage Festival. Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran inaugurated the event, which featured a keynote by Dr. Malavika Binny emphasizing the significance of local history. Historian Dr. Hussain Randathani also delivered a lecture on migration patterns. The festival, organized by the departments of Archaeology, Archives, and Museums, continues until January 6.
