
In 2024, Delhi's employment exchange recorded 21,000 registrations, including over 1,400 postgraduates, 1,342 diploma holders, and five PhDs. Registrations from matric to intermediate-level applicants declined to 10,069 from 30,527 in 2023. The unemployment rate rose to 2.1% in 2023-24 from 1.9%. Graduates in arts (2,925) and sciences (1,025) led applications. Additionally, 1,567 trade unions were registered, with minimum wages set at Rs 18,456 for unskilled and Rs 24,356 for graduates as of April 2025.
