National Defence Academy to Host Sabhikhi Cup 2026 with First Female Cadet Participation

The National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune will host the Sabhikhi Cup 2026 from March 17 to 21, featuring 429 cadets—331 male and 98 female—from India's premier military training institutions. This marks the first competitive participation of female cadets, highlighting the armed forces' commitment to gender equality. Cadets will compete in sports such as cross-country, football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, and squash, with awards for winners and the best-performing academy.
