
Two women in Dumka, Jharkhand, including a minor, face severe threats of acid attacks, rape, and murder, forcing one into isolation and preventing her from attending school. The National Commission for Women (NCW), led by Chairperson Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, has intervened, urging immediate police protection and expedited investigation. Rahatkar also convened meetings with local officials to strengthen law enforcement and ensure women's safety under the NCW's outreach initiative.
