Two Arrested in Himachal Pradesh Over Injuries to Female Leopard

Two men were arrested in Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, after a female leopard was found with injuries from a sharp weapon and missing nails, as revealed by a post-mortem at the Tutikandi Animal Rescue Centre. The Forest Department's investigation, including CCTV footage from a goat farm in Satiwala village, showed the leopard trapped and the men armed with weapons inside the enclosure. Despite treatment, the leopard died. The accused were later released on bail as the probe continues.
