Odisha to Distribute Sports Kits in 485 Maoist-Affected Villages Under Gramodaya Campaign

The Odisha government will distribute sports kits worth Rs 50,000 each to 485 Maoist-affected villages across 10 districts under the 'Gramodaya' campaign. With a sanctioned budget of Rs 2.42 crore, the initiative aims to integrate youth from remote areas into mainstream society, promote sports talent, and foster peace and social harmony. The Ministry of Home Affairs targets eliminating Maoist influence by the end of March.
