Major temples across Rajasthan experienced a significant surge in devotees on New Year's Day, with large crowds gathering from early morning to offer prayers. Temples in Jaipur, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, and Banswara saw extensive queues. Special arrangements, including extended hours and traffic management, were implemented at popular sites like Khatu Shyamji and Salasar Balaji temples to accommodate the influx of over 1.5 lakh expected visitors at Khatu Shyamji alone.
