
Former Madhya Pradesh DGP Harivallabh Mohanlal Joshi, the only surviving member of India's first IPS batch of 1948, celebrated his 100th birthday in Bhopal. The Madhya Pradesh IPS Association organized a ceremony honoring his leadership and contributions, especially in anti-dacoity campaigns in Chambal and Bundelkhand. Current DGP Kailash Makwana and other officials praised Joshi's vision and dedication, highlighting his role in crime control and police welfare. A documentary on his life was also screened.
