The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) plans to launch its annual Mumbai housing lottery in about 10 days, offering approximately 2,500 homes across various city locations. The lottery will include apartments for economically weaker sections, lower, middle, and high-income groups, with eligibility based on annual family income. MHADA did not conduct the Mumbai lottery in 2025, increasing anticipation for this year's draw. Previous lotteries featured homes in areas like Andheri, Juhu, Powai, and Tardeo, with prices ranging from Rs 29 lakh to over Rs 6 crore.
