The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) in Thoothukudi organized a 'Swachhta Pakhwada' program from December 16-31. The event included a workshop for fishermen focusing on sustainable mariculture, climate-smart practices, and fishmeal replacement using agricultural by-products. Beneficiaries received ice boxes, and an awareness session on waste recycling was also held.
