Authorities Seize Adulterated Milk and Expired Food in Multiple Indian States

Food safety authorities in India have uncovered significant violations involving adulterated and expired food products. In Junagadh, a milk tanker from Leria village was intercepted with detergent and synthetic substances detected, raising health concerns amid delayed official testing. Separately, raids in Rajasthan and Jharkhand seized about 150 tonnes of expired food, including paneer and packaged items, with equipment found allegedly used to alter expiry dates. These actions are part of broader efforts to enhance food safety enforcement nationwide.
