A fire broke out at the 23-storey Sorrento Tower in Mumbai's Andheri West on Thursday morning, prompting the rescue of nearly 40 residents. The blaze, which started around 10 am, affected electrical shafts and furniture across multiple floors, with the 12th, 13th, and 14th floors significantly impacted. Firefighters deployed four engines and extinguished the fire by 11:37 am. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Filmmaker Sandeep Singh's premises on the 14th floor were affected.
