Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has adopted Gaggar village in Ajnala, Amritsar, which was severely impacted by recent floods. The university launched a winter relief drive, distributing warm clothing and bedding to needy families. GNDU's Vice-Chancellor highlighted the initiative's aim to foster societal bonds and instill values in students. The university also plans to address the village's lack of primary education and healthcare facilities, which were exacerbated by flood damage.
