13-Year-Old Boy Dies by Suicide in Thane Over Fear of Parental Reprimand

A 13-year-old boy named Rudra Rakesh Singh died by suicide at his home in Thane, Maharashtra, reportedly due to fear of parental reprimand over school pranks. The incident occurred Friday night in the Wagle Estate area. The school principal had recently called parents to address the boy's behavior, and his mother had reprimanded him and informed his father. The boy was found hanging and declared dead at Thane Civil Hospital. An accidental death report has been filed.
