Social science scholar Narendra Badasheshi stated that the National Service Scheme (NSS) aims to connect students from campus to their communities, enabling them to contribute to societal development. Speaking at Sidhartha Law College, he emphasized that NSS, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's vision for rural development, encourages youth participation in social welfare. Badasheshi urged students to apply their education for community upliftment and engage in social service for those genuinely in need.
