
Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava stated he has received information of 10 deaths from a diarrhoea outbreak in Bhagirathpura, attributed to contaminated water. Local residents, however, claim 14 deaths, including an infant. Health department data reportedly shows four deaths, while preliminary reports suggest water contamination due to a pipeline leak. Over 1,400 people have been affected by vomiting and diarrhoea, with hundreds hospitalized.
