The 149th birth anniversary of Mannathu Padmanabhan, founder of the Nair Service Society (NSS), will be celebrated on January 1 and 2 at the NSS headquarters in Perunna. The event includes floral tributes, a delegates' meet where NSS activities and socio-political stances will be discussed, and the inauguration of the Jayanti celebrations by Cyriac Thomas, former member of the National Minority Commission. Cultural programs and a remembrance speech are also scheduled.
