Mumbai Records Cold Morning Amid Rising Air Pollution Levels in Several Areas

Mumbai experienced a cold winter morning with temperatures ranging from 15.9°C to 19°C and partly cloudy skies, according to the India Meteorological Department. Despite favorable weather, air quality deteriorated, with the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching unhealthy levels between 176 and 224 on Tuesday. Several areas, including Chembur, Sewri, and Bhakti Park, recorded severe pollution due to dust from construction and vehicular emissions. Authorities advised vulnerable groups to limit outdoor exposure amid ongoing pollution concerns.
