IMD and Maharashtra Agriculture Department Warn of Thunderstorms and Hailstorms from March 17-20

The India Meteorological Department and Maharashtra Agriculture Department have forecast thunderstorms, rainfall, gusty winds, and possible hailstorms across Vidarbha, Marathwada, Khandesh, and Central Maharashtra from March 17 to 20. Weather intensity is expected to rise between March 18 and 20. With rabi crop harvesting underway, farmers are advised to protect harvested produce by storing it safely or covering it and to monitor weather updates to minimize potential crop damage.
