Mumbai's newly inaugurated MT Agarwal Municipal General Hospital, located near the Bhandup bus crash site, struggled to provide emergency care to severely injured patients. The hospital, recently rebuilt and expanded, could only retain two patients for basic treatment, referring others to different facilities due to a lack of advanced equipment like CT scan and MRI machines. Families expressed shock at the new hospital's inability to handle critical cases, necessitating transfers to other hospitals for advanced treatment.
