Gurugram Tourist Arrested After Violent Clash With Locals on Mussoorie Mall Road
On June 28, a dispute between tourists from Gurugram and local residents on Mussoorie's Mall Road escalated into a violent brawl, injuring at least two people, including a woman who intervened. The altercation reportedly began after a vehicle collision and involved a man striking others with a plastic crate. Police detained the accused, Neeraj Raghav, and initiated legal action under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, also penalizing the vehicle for traffic violations. Similar tensions between tourists and locals have been reported in Mussoorie recently.
