IIT Delhi First-Year Student Found Dead in Campus Apartment; Suicide Investigation Underway

A first-year IIT Delhi student, Harshit Swami, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his campus apartment on March 12, with no suicide note recovered. The student lived with his mother, who had left for her native place two days earlier. Police registered an FIR for abetment of suicide and are investigating, including examining phone records.
