Gokul Celebrates Traditional 'Chhadimar' Holi with Procession and Colour Festivities

The traditional 'Chhadimar' Holi was celebrated in Gokul, Mathura, with a ceremonial procession of Thakurji starting from Nand Bhavan and moving to Murlidhar Ghat, where aarti was performed by temple priest Mathura Das. Women playfully struck male participants with sticks in a symbolic expression of love, reflecting local customs linked to Lord Krishna's Holi celebrations.
