
The ongoing Magh Mela in Prayagraj has seen over nine lakh devotees take a holy dip at the Sangam on Ekadashi, with numbers expected to reach between one crore and 1.5 crore during the two-day Makar Sankranti bathing festival. Authorities have implemented extensive preparations, including 12,100 feet of bathing ghats, 42 temporary parking zones, and deployment of over 10,000 police personnel to ensure safety and smooth crowd management.
