Gajraj Corps Hosts Large Rally in Assam Supporting Ex-Servicemen and Families

The Gajraj Corps organized a large rally in Assam's Sonitpur district on March 8, 2026, gathering around 4,000 ex-servicemen, war widows, and their families from Biswanath and Sonitpur districts. The event focused on facilitating veterans' transition to civilian careers by providing employment opportunities, dealership prospects, and support from government and private sectors. It also aimed to strengthen ties between the Army and veterans while offering welfare, healthcare, and financial assistance. Major General H.S. Gill paid tribute to the participants for their service.
