Punjab Revises School Timings Amid Cold Wave, Excludes Double-Shift Schools

In response to severe cold and dense fog, Punjab's government has revised school timings from January 16 to 21. Primary schools will operate from 10 am to 3 pm, and middle to senior secondary schools from 10 am to 3:20 pm. This applies to government, private, aided, and recognized schools. However, double-shift government schools remain excluded, raising concerns among educators about young students attending early morning classes amid harsh weather conditions.
