Vegetable Seller Killed by Elephant in Jharkhand's Bokaro District

A vegetable seller, Ravindra Dani, was trampled to death by an elephant near Simrabeda Mahto Tola in Jharkhand's Bokaro district while returning home late Sunday. Officials said his vehicle overturned, and after he exited, the elephant attacked him. Locals had warned of elephant presence, and the vehicle's headlights were reportedly not working.
