Doctors at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow performed a rare, multi-stage surgery on a woman born with uterus didelphys, a condition involving two uteruses and two vaginas. The patient also had urinary and anal malformations causing incontinence and bowel issues. The surgical team corrected these anomalies, restoring bladder control and near-normal bowel function, enabling her to live independently after years of challenges and unsuccessful treatments.
