In Rajasthan's Shahgarh area near the India-Pakistan border, three men were arrested after a rare caracal was killed and partially burnt, following a viral video of the incident. The accused claimed they tracked the animal after it allegedly killed about 50 of their livestock. Forest officials recovered the carcass, seized a tractor, and sent samples for post-mortem and further examination at the Wildlife Institute of India.
