Karnataka has achieved a record 198 organ donations in 2025, surpassing its previous high of 178 in 2023. This achievement places the state third nationally, behind Tamil Nadu (267) and Telangana (205). The State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO) milestone highlights the state's growing contribution to organ transplantation. Maharashtra and Gujarat reported 153 and 152 donations, respectively.
