The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has identified significant lapses in Gurugram's dust pollution control measures following an inspection. The commission found high levels of dust, waste accumulation, and instances of open burning on numerous road stretches, indicating deficiencies in routine maintenance and waste management. Meanwhile, Delhi's air quality neared the 'severe' category, with the AQI recorded at 385 ('very poor'), a figure expected to persist for the next six days.
