
The Delhi government plans to upskill 1.20 lakh registered construction workers over three years under the Code of Social Security, 2020. The Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board will engage training partners to provide 120 hours of practical, employment-relevant training in trades like masonry, carpentry, and electrical work. Training batches of 20 to 50 workers will receive certification upon successful completion, aiming to enhance employability and economic empowerment.
