Arunachal Pradesh Consumer Affairs Minister Gabriel D Wangsu highlighted the importance of enhancing consumer awareness and protection during a workshop on World Consumer Rights Day. He noted existing grievance redressal mechanisms like the state and district consumer commissions and urged citizens to check product labels, expiry dates, and certifications carefully. Wangsu emphasized that consumer protection applies to all, urging informed purchasing decisions and the preparation of citizen charters by government departments to ensure transparent service delivery.
