A tiger was rescued from an open well in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, after an 11-hour operation involving forest officials and rescue teams. The animal, believed to be around three years old, fell into the well early Tuesday morning. Rescue efforts were complicated by the well's depth and a damaged motor. After tranquilizing the tiger, it was safely removed and taken for observation, with a decision pending on its release back into the forest or transfer to a zoo, despite some residents' concerns about its return.
