In Deoband, Muslim men, led by Gulfam Ansari, performed the last rites for Ajay Kumar Saini, a Hindu mechanic who died of kidney disease. With no family members present to conduct the funeral, Ansari and his companions prepared the pyre, carried it to the crematorium, and completed the rituals with guidance from the Hindu community. They also provided food for guests over three days, showcasing interfaith fraternity.
