
Delhi's Asha Kiran Home, spanning 6.04 acres and housing 570 residents with intellectual disabilities, is set for infrastructure upgrades funded with Rs 5.34 crore for FY 2025-26. Planned improvements include painting, repairs, new laundry machines, air-conditioners, borewells, water pipelines, and enhanced security with CCTV. Delhi Minister Singh emphasized providing a safe, clean environment and highlighted the importance of staff attitude and service during his inspection of the facility and a nearby half-way home in Narela.
