Heavy snowfall and flash floods in Afghanistan have resulted in 12 deaths and 11 injuries, according to the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA). The severe weather also caused widespread destruction, with 274 houses completely destroyed and 1,558 partially damaged. The incidents occurred on Thursday, January 1st, leaving a trail of devastation across the affected regions.
