Forty-three students at a lower primary school in Shorapur fell ill after consuming their midday meal on Monday. Students reported feeling unwell, with one experiencing giddiness after eating rice and sambar. While officials stated all students were treated at the Taluk Hospital and discharged, some parents alleged the food was contaminated with a lizard and demanded action. Food samples are being sent for laboratory testing to determine the cause.
