An NGO, Youth Mission for Clean River (YMCR), along with student volunteers and social media influencers, removed approximately 1,800 kg of waste from the Yagamso River in Arunachal Pradesh. The collected waste, primarily household plastics and construction debris, was segregated for proper disposal and composting. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about river conservation and the impact of improper waste management on urban water bodies.
