Lt Col Ambily Satish, a retired military nursing officer, completed an 8,800-km solo motorcycle ride to 12 Jyotirlingas, starting from Dehradun and concluding in Pune. The 45-year-old embarked on this journey after a voluntary retirement, viewing motorcycling as a way of life that challenges societal beliefs about women's capabilities and safety on Indian roads. Her ride aims to redefine perceptions and showcase female independence and purpose.
