
Over 500 people from Andhra Pradesh stranded in West Asia amid the US-Israel and Iran conflict have returned home, according to the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society president, Ravi Vemuru. Most were temporary visa holders or transit passengers, while many employed in Gulf countries continue working. Returns were facilitated via direct and transit flights from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman. About 50 pastors remain stranded due to flight and visa challenges. The state and Andhra Pradesh Bhavan assisted in travel arrangements.
