PMRDA Nears Completion of International-Standard Football Arenas in Pimpri-Chinchwad

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is nearing completion of two international-standard football and multi-utility sports arenas in Pimpri-Chinchwad's Sectors 3 and 12. The Sector 3 facility, about 80% complete, includes a 44x30 meter turf and a squash court, while the larger Sector 12 project, around 65-80% finished, features a FIFA-standard 105x68 meter football pitch and seating for over 400 spectators. Advanced drainage systems and other infrastructure aim to support year-round play and encourage local athletic development. Additional Metropolitan Commissioner Deepak Singla has reviewed progress and urged timely completion.
