The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for cold wave conditions in Delhi-NCR, with temperatures expected to drop to 2-4 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, the minimum temperature recorded was 4.8 degrees Celsius at Safdarjung, while Ayanagar registered 2.9 degrees Celsius. In response to severe cold and dense fog, all schools up to Class 8 in Noida's Gautam Buddh Nagar district will be closed until January 15.
