Bengaluru Woman Dies by Suicide Following Astrologer's Prediction and Rituals

A 27- to 29-year-old Bengaluru woman employed in the tech sector was found dead at her residence after reportedly being distressed by an astrologer's prediction of a short lifespan or a troubled marriage. She had performed a nine-day ritual advised by the astrologer to avert the predicted outcome. Police registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, which family members discovered after she did not respond to calls.
