The annual Jod Mela, commemorating the founders of the Kar Seva sect, Baba Tara Singh and Baba Charan Singh, was held at Gurdwara Gurpuri Sahib. Baba Sukha Singh, the current head, urged attendees to combat drug abuse and promote human welfare. A blood donation camp collected 58 units, and Baba Sukha Singh was honored for his flood relief services. The event also featured horse racing and martial displays, with future plans for mass marriages and Amrit Sanchar.
